Better Captain choices than Calvin Captains

While i appreciate the effort calvin puts into calvin's captain, there is something which while boring is more safer for league games

If you started with both Swan and Ablett and selected Swan each week as captain except with Ablett being captain round 9,10 Swans injured and also for Swan's bye round 12

haven't mentioned cause if everyone did it DT would be really boring!

We all have similar sides and captains - it helps with variety that Calvin's article encourages points of difference

Hey mate, I meant is Ablett auto captain for round 1 and 2?

But I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't captain Ablett between rounds 1-4 and then just Captain Swan for the rest of the year.

i have mentioned it to him on facebook's dt talk page, but none of them every responded... ive kept track of his choices over the last 2 yrs, last yr i had Gazza or Swann as captains all yr instead of Calvin Captains and it worked a jem, this yr i wanted to test out his captain choices and it stuffed me up big time!! every time, not always did i pick his first choice though coz i didnt nessesarily have the players so i picked his highest choice and still dissapointing.

overall conclusion I will be sticking with top premiums as captains for the rest of my DT career, Gazza, Swann, Pendles or highest average as it seems to out perform calvins captains by far over the long term.
