Is Top 4 really that important?

As the heading says   the question i ask here is 'do i really need to be in the top 4?'

My team is as stands
Def: Goddard Deledio Grima Carazzo Broughton Birchall H.Shaw  Emg: S.Shaw P.Yagmoor
Mid: Ablett Pendles Rockliff Boyd Priddis Watson  Emg: Gibson Williams
Rucks: Jacobs Maric  Emg: Redden Longer
Forwards: Franklin Johnson Walker Cloke Zorko Dangerfield Martin     Emg: Pfiffer Hall

In my two important leagues i am 1st in one and 6th in the other one by 4 pts and percentage. I have 3 trades left and $170K.  My two problems are highlighted. Should i go all out and hope i grab top 4 by doing broughton to scotland and franklin to beams??

top 4 depends entirely on the quality of those in it.

i would trade broughton to scotland/waters and keep franklin.
Hall is into the squad for GC and may cover that fwd line donut (but dont hold your breath).

Top 4 matters, if you can help it. Luck is an element of SC and anything can happen in a head to head, remove the risk and avoid wk2 of finals. But with 3 trades you're not in a position to force your way in and be able to maintain your team.

Just do Broughton to Scotland. Keep last 2 trades for cover.
