Hello people. I'm currently sitting second in my league on percentage with an easy opponent this week, so locked in the top two. Four trades left,  $162,700 in the kitty.

Def- Lids, Gods, Scotland, Carrots, Shaw, Adcock, Lake, (S Shaw, Darley)
Mids- GAJ, Pendles, Thompson, Jellwood, Priddis, Gibson, ( Baguley, Couch)
Ruck- Cox, Sauce, (Redden, Campbell)
Fwds- Danger, Sidey, Pav, Martin, Goodes, Pearce, Zorko, (Buddy, Smedts)

I'm thinking of trading out Darley to Bell this week ( if he's named off the extended bench this Arvo) for the cash and bringing in Murphy.
Pros- Team complete, Will get Murf before his price starts going through the roof. Darleys season is over? Bell looks good and still have S Shaw for cover.
Cons- only two trades left for finals, don't need to do to secure top four, risk of injuries this week and only two trades left.

Maybe just trade Darley this week and sit tight on Murf until next week. Sure, his price will go up, but so will Gibsons, so shouldn't lose too much dough.

Two trades for finals isn't perfect, but I have a feeling that this year it will probably be more than most. Also I have get out of jail cards in my mid/fwd and mid/back DPPs. When Buddy comes back i will have the luxury of having Zorko, Pearce or Goodes ( on current form!) sitting on my pine for mid or fwd emergencies.

Or option four ( Beams) but will lose my luxury bench cover.

So should I bite the bullet and complete my side, or hold tight? A cheers for all replies, otherwise just press the vote button above!

1. Personally having Goodes and/or Pearce on the bench is a waste of money...Also Pearce only plays well against the dud teams, of which Freo don't play too many more...

2. Also you could look at downgrading Redden in your rucks instead. Looks as likely as Darley to get a game and gives you about 20k extra cash.

3. Also if trading Pearce why not get Swanny instead of Beams or Murphy? More consistent and finished the season really well...

So basically downgrade Redden, use option 2 but instead of Beams get Swan...

Yeah, cheers mate, I have thought about that, the only thing stopping me is I will lose my fwd/mid DPP link, which could be very handy in the finals if I run out of trades. As far as the Redden trade goes, I was thinking that if Bell plays this week, his JS would seem to be ok, so it's another backup, although I don't really need it with S Shaw looking to play out the season. If I go Redden I might as well wait another week. I suppose it's points on the ground vs good backup in case of emergencies. Hmmmm?

If you want overall trade this week. If only looking league wise you can afford to hold till ext week...
