Lions coach Michael Voss rated Matthew Leuenberger a 50-50 chance to play against the Bulldogs after a limited pre-season with niggling calf injuries. The big ruckman emerged unscathed after playing a half for the Lions reserves last week. No risks on Leuey, given the sharp improvement in Billy Longer’s game. Utility Brent Staker is still two weeks away while Simon Black remains a longer term proposition.
