Just everyone's thoughts on Petrie.... I'm thinking of bringing him in for Smedts this week as a bit of a POD.
Is it a risk bringing him in? Kangas have a good run home aswell.

If you look at his scores over the season he is very hot and cold, as all key forwards are. Cant expect 7 goals from him every week

Wouldn't be a bad POD. You should be able to expect some nice scores from the games against Melbourne, Western Bulldogs and especially GWS in the grand final. But could be a bit hit and miss aside from those games.

Not sure you could expect a massive one against Melbourne. Frawley rarely has goals kicked on him, although Petrie is in some great form.

I just think theres better options for that price. Who do you currently have in your forwards?

My fwds are: Dangerfield, Beams, Cloke, Martin, Zorko, Treloar, Smedts (Tippett & Sidey)

I have 98k aswell!

My options are to trade Tippett (don't know how long he is out for)
Smedts & Treloar (but I'd want him for bench cover so not to keen on this)

I think a big consideration is his opponents. He dominates weaker defences, and is among the best one on one players going around at the moment.  He can however go missing when blanketed by a quality defender.

Have heard from a mate in the know that Petrie pulled up lame last week after destroying the Tigers. If they are smashing Melbourne he will be subbed off. Buyer beware.
