Better tell us who you have first mate.

whoops was meant to do that!! Current Backs; Goddard deledio waters birchall carrazzo grimes ellis (spurr, darley). looking to trade ellis to finalise my side, could use two trades to get shaw or scotland but is that really worth it as id be left with only 1 trade for the rest of the yr??

Jay

Run me thru some options your thinking of...

Spinking

Personally with 3 trades remaining, I'd just trust Ellis, Spurr and Darley to hold down D7 until the last couple of weeks. Having said that I'd say you should maybe look at Heppell for around $400k.

i would hold off as well. ellis will still gain some value (10-20k at least), plus a lot of the better def have high b/e's i think. give it a couple of weeks and see how you sit then.

Ellis has been scoring pretty well too

Jay

Yeah I agree...just wait it out with ellis scoring well :)

Some of my mates think I am crazy but I am bringing in Robert Murphy for Ellis this week. He has now bottomed at $380K after his injury/sub effected score of 44.  Leaves me with 3 trades and a completed team for Finals.

also leaves you with a completed team featuring bob murphy

ha ha yeah yeah. I reckon he is good value for a last back (pretty much the lowest expectation of any position). I'll be happy if he can give me a 90 average from here on. And does have the potential for some occasional huge scores (generally has very good efficiency - good for SC).

but yeah am a dogs supporter...  :-\

Harbrow? Taking out his game where he got subbed out in 2nd quarter due to injury (was on track for 100+ game) he's averaging 97. Has a good run home with 3 games at Metricon where he has averaged 100+ and games against Melbourne and GWS. Good POD imo.

If you don't want to take a risk then the safest option would probably be M.Johnson. Grima can score well and Heppel should put out consistent 80+ games.
