OK people have mentioned this but i thought id ask specifically with my situation

Would you use your final 2 trades over the next 2-3 weeks for this?

gibson to murphy and adams (in mid) to fyfe

means that i will not get in either swan or beams for finals.....what do you think?

team atm is:

delids scot gods birch caraz hepp m.jono  (shaw, smetz)
abeltt boyd pendle j.selw s.thomo a.swal (gibson, adams)
cox goldy (redden campbell)
buddy robbo siddey danger lewis pearce martin (pearce zorko)

My answer would be no, hold on to them until you get injuries in that last few weeks. You have a high quality team, but there will no doubt be injuries or rests between now and seasons end. Just my opinion though.

Good luck mate.

thanks mate

was thinking holding trades but with murph, fyfe n pearce as cover that would be huge !

Having those two as bench would be huge, but also a waste of trades and money. Sideways-ing would be better than this IMO, because then you might have 10 more points per week, whereas your option gives you no extra points per week.

Also, you have pearce twice in your fwds

These trades make absolutely no sense to me.  You have a full team with Zorko/Martin/Pearce as mid/fwd cover.  You already have to bench one of them each week, why increase this and have to bench murphy + 2 premium mid/fwds every week?

Yes it looks attractive being able to fill your side with these players, but it won't help you much if at all.  You will need the 2 trades GUARANTEED.  Only if it means using them in your GF to cover a couple short term injuries/suspensions/omissions/restings etc...

Look at it this way - you want them as cover - if you have to use them, this means you have 3 premiums not on your field due to injury/omissions etc.  This could be Ablett for example sitting on your bench.  Would make more sense using a trade on him and getting in Swan or similar and not having all that money on your bench.

Then you also have to consider if the injuries come to your rucks or defenders... you have 0 trades and all that wasted cover & $ sitting on your mid/fwd benches.

Don't get Fyfe for a couple of weeks if you really want to.

Gotta see how he goes first. Even then I'd wait until next year.  :-\

no Murphy is a hack especially in DT. he will get the #1 tag and be restricted in possessions at least for the next 4 weeks.

Fyfe is worthwhile but a risk returning from an LTi and into freo under lyons.

you didnt say how much money you have but NOTHING will be as good as SWAN and BEAMS.

if you can only afford one SWAN and NOW ! and then put the C on him and sit back and enjoy the ride.

Calling him a hack is a bit stiff :S
