Patch out for the season

Well it seemed inevitable and as soon as he went down yesterday I knew there was a 99% chance he was going to be sent off to have surgery on his troublesome shoulders. A crucial player for us and a big blow heading into September!

I blame Essendon for Patch's injuries.

Bringing their injury curse to the game was selfish. lol :P

Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Hopfully we didn't catch a losing curse they are 3-7 in the last 10. 1 more than gc

Nah they're waiting until later in the week to make a call on Wellsy and Grima. Scott said Grima had hamstring tendonitis but not sure of the severity, could be a recurrence of some previous injuries. Hard to tell with Wells, but calves are pretty tough ones to gauge.

to be honest dont really care about collingwood at all, take the loss and come out strong against freo. I would say rest grima and wells again against freo need to start preparing for finals.

Well if we lose against Freo then all of a sudden we could potentially drop out of the 8. Unlikely, due to the game against GWS to finish it off, but the win against Freo means that we don't need to rely on other results and could also get a home final if we win Freo + GWS.
