i have 4 trades left and i was think of doing this

out: macdonald  in: pendles

out: Giles  in: jacob/maric???? not really sure who to get

This would leave me with 2 trades left and a complete team with about 15k left over

My mids would then be

Ablett, Watson, Pendles, Jelwood, Priddis and Boyd (gibo and  :oledger >:()

and my rucks

Cox, Jacobs or Maric (O and redden)

Should i do both these trades or should i just do 1 this week and hold the other?

i reckon if you have good bench cover go for it mate.  :) I would go Jacobs over Maric in the rucks because Maric has an injury concern and jacobs is flying at the minute. good luck :)

Probably not a good idea to go to 2 trades with a fair few weeks remaining. Would certainly make you team stronger though. Would lean toward Jacobs rather than Maric if you decide to make that trade.

Only trade now if you really have to win to get into finals in your league.

Imagine being able to pose the same question on the eve of finals. Now that would be cool!  8)

Should i get pendles in now because he is at his lowest price and hold on the rucks?

Giles' run home is actually really good apart from this week against collingwood as GWS play port, gold coast, melbourne, st kilda and north, and with a BE of 114, (which he is capable of) it could be a smart move to hold him for the upcoming matches, which could mean he could be a really good POD in the run home against some weaker teams. Personally id hold Giles and get in Pendlebury if i was in your position. But just to check, are you looking good to make the finals or is it touch and go to get there?

I will make the finals easy just trying to squeeze in the top 4, im 1 game out with the best % out of any1. I have 12th and 15th to play in my coming games so should be easy wins

Yeah okay then id probably be willing to take a risk and keep Giles. Surely he will score at least OK against 3 teams that are struggling in the ruck department (melbourne, port and gold coast) and then hopefully can take some form into the last two. if he is still spudding it up after those three games (or has had absolute shockers in the first two) then i would be inclined to trade him. if he scores poorly this week, dont worry, he is playing a top four side. Trade him out if he scores poorly against the poor teams, because you wouldnt want to trade him out now and then watch him rack it up against the weaker teams. Hope this has helped.

Good luck mate :)

Pendles, don't think just bring him in and reap the benefits. Cheers.

The only problem with holding Giles to see how he goes in the next few weeks is how much money he could drop

yeah thats part of the risk involved, but with a BE of 114, in the next 3 weeks he is actually predicted to rise 10K (if he keeps his average of 83.7). The pies game just say he gets 70, then he will need to score two 95's in the next two games after that (against port and gold coast). So you pretty much need him to average about 80 over the next few weeks to keep his price, which he is able to do. He shouldnt drop too much at all, and may even rise in price from now until the after the melbourne game ( in round 21), and then that would be an ideal time to trade him out, as he will be likely to drop in the last two rounds coming up against mcevoy and goldstein.

I'd hold onto Giles while he is playing, cos u never know whats gonna happen in the next few weeks. Unless you need to win and you think 50 odd points extra would help you, do the 2 upgrades
