Who has better JS and scoring potential?

Tom Couch (mid/fwd) (MELB) - $94,700
10 (52.6%)
Mark Baguley (def/mid) (ESS) - $94,700
2 (10.5%)
Don't trade either, hold on and see how they go. (read the description to see which is the best option)
7 (36.8%)

Have 4 trades left. Buddy, Waters, Goddard and Tippett (if late withdrawal) on the bench. Holding onto all of them as I should be making finals and feel that I can trade Buddy/Waters later on if they don't come back.

Need to bring in either Tom Couch or Baguley, whoever has a better JS and scoring potential. They will become bench cover once the premos are back, but I need them to be playing for most if not the rest of the season.

Either trade will give me one bench cover in the forward and backline, and either trade will give me one or two donuts this week (depending on Tippett plays or not)

The other option is to not trade either of these guys in since it's their first game and cop 3/4 donuts this week, 2/3 next week.

I'm going for a league win and am sitting on 5th but have lost my last three games. Should make the top 8 though.

Cheers guys!

Couch has better scoring potential, but both have equally dodgy JS.

Better just wait it out.  Even if they do play you may only get 30's from them.  If Couch gets a full game he could do decent given his VFL form.  Big IF though.

i dont even care if they're 30s because theyll be bench cover in a few weeks. as long as they've got JS. but like you said both arent reliable, Couch has more scoring potential therefore better JS but it's taken this long for Neeld to play him, might be out of the team just as quick as he came in.

I'm thinking either holding or maybe trading in Couch. My opponent (even though they're 10th on the ladder) doesn't have any donuts this week without trading so I might lose anyway.

I don't think you can correlate better scoring potential to better js.

Better scoring potential means he just has a better role for fantasy purposes.  Baguley might have to do some lock down roles, but if he does his role well this could help his JS despite scoring poorly fantasy wise.

I think you already know the answer to your own question anyway..  If you don't need to coin toss on rookies, better off waiting...

Simple as that.
