So, what is the general feeling regarding Pavlich? His form over the pre-season has been somewhat indifferent, coinciding with talk regarding what is role within the team will be this season.

Should he be a lock for sides going into round one, or is it best to see how it all pans out before making a decision?

Mish

in my opinion you can rely on him to get you 90-100 every match.
although for $440k i think its a little overpriced but you can deffinately rely on him to be your captain for the rest of the season.

im going to wait for him to drop to 350-400 before i buy him.

My gut feeling is that because of his interupted pre-season he will have a slow start to the year. Apprently he was really frustrated in the match against the Roos and was carrying on with the umpires etc. Quite un-Pavlich like. I think he will drop below the 400k mark after the first 3 or 4 rounds. Buy him then because he will only improve as the year goes on.

Same can be said for Reiwoldt IMO because he is unlikley to be match fit by round 1. But buy him if he drops to around that 400k mark because he usually perfoms way better in the second half of the season.

Pav, Roo and J.Brown are all slow starters and perfect targets for mid season upgrades.
