Spinking

Just a thought.  St Kilda appeared to find a major chink in Essendon's game plan last week - shut down Watto and clog up the corridor and suddenly they seem much slower.

Obviously the Saints had to use a 'team tag' to do it, but I'm wondering whether other coaches will look to apply this going forward?

Was looking to go Priddis to Watto for M6 but reconsidering at the moment.  Any thoughts?

Watson is an absolute gun. Don't forget that Clint Jones is one of the best taggers in the game and not all teams will be able to do that to him. Also keep in mind that essendon as a team got dominated, which again, shouldnt happen too often. Watson will still avg well over 100+ for the remainder.

That said, if you're upgrading Priddis i'd hold for a couple of weeks to see how they both go, because Priddis is still rising in price and watson will drop.

For some reason Clint Jones didn't tag either Watson or Stanton. Of all Essendon's players, he tagged Jetta. Dal Santo played a loose tag on Watson and won, and Montagna did the same on Stanton. Absolute masterstroke really. Jones was the link up man at half back for much of the game.
