I can go Clarke to Lake this week or wait and hope Clarke doesn't play and get Carrots next week?
Is Lake a gun Premo or can he average 90 for the rest of the year?

yes he is a premo and thats why is a keeper in my team- will be touch and go whether he averages 90 for the rest of the season as i think he will average exactly that

definately a premo, premo defenders only need an average of 80-85 and he has that, bar 3 or 4 games has been consistent and punching out hundreds on a regular basis, had him from the star and couldnt have been happier, glad i got him over hargave for sure...

I think to be considered premium you need to deliver consistently over a period of time. Lake has a huge ceiling, loves getting junk time points and can rack up points like a premium, but I've definitely still got 2011 in mind where he was lucky to get a run some weeks let alone be fantasy relevant. He also occasionally plays a role that takes him out of the game which hurts.

Do you have any other upgrades that require attention to complete your team? And how many trades do you have?
It depends on the situation, Clarke is set to lose money this week, so either trade or sit tight(if he's out). So make a decision now and when teams are out, you know what to do. If Clarke plays this week, then you probably can't get carrots next week. If you can(count your trades!), then do a downgrade then upgrade Clarke to Carrots(if Clarke plays this week and you need to get rid of him).
If not then you can wait another week for Carrazzo to drop. Simple.

If not then Lake is probably your only option, but to be honest I'd try not to do that. Not like he's in good form or looking like a premium, so i wouldn't trade him in, you might as well stick with Clarke and the extra trade.
