Hey Guys

I was wondering if i could get a few opinionms on a couple of trades i was thinking of doing this week.

1. I have Paul Duffield in my team and after having a poor performance in round 10 he was dropped the week after. Obviously Freo had the bye last weekend but i was hoping that he would be recalled (after 34 disposals in the WAFL) for this weekends game. Turns out that he isnt even named as an emergency. So i am wondering if it is time to trade him out? If i were to trade him out i was thinking to either Grimes, Adcock or Heppel. Or i could cop a 0 this week and see if he is back next week as i probably wouldnt trade him if he was playing. If i wait and he isnt selected i will definitely be trading him. So the question is hold and hope or trade him out and cop 1 less doughnut? What do you guys reckon?

2. In my midfield i have Adam Treloar and with his huge B/E i was thinking his time was up. I was thinking of upgrading him to either Swan, Boyd or even Stanton (already got Boyd). Which one though? If i dont trade him this week his price is just going to fall which means its going to cost me more to upgrade him later on. Thoughts on this upgrade?

3. This is just one that i was after other peoples thoughts on because im not sure if its smart. My 2 ruck benches are Redden and Stephenson. I was just wondering if it is worth downgrading him Tom Campbell (even though he will probably even play 1 match).

4. Having Billie Smedts as one of my forward bench players is really annoying me. I was wondering if it is worth downgrading him but last time i checked there was no decent rookies at the moment that are playing. Does anyone know of any decent ones?

Any comments and opinions would be greatly appreciated :)

1: I think booting Duff might be a good move. Think about it, you could keep him  this week & cop a zero....Only to see he ain't playing next week. Your already behind maybe 60-100 points already just by keeping him, or he comes back as the sub.

2: ....Get Swan, don't think twice about that!!  ;)

3: Is this for $$$ purposes, IMO at this stage getting premos is the way to go. Not downgrading to a player that may play one game and be the sub and maybe score only 40 points. Not really worth it unless it enables you to get Swan....

4: Maybe Hayden Crozier?  :)

Depending on how many trades you have I'd definately be doing the first 2 trades. Don't skimp on mids at this stage get them in when you can and I'd get swanny if u can. Worth every cent and will be big this week. With duff it's a bit tougher. He seems really out of favour at freo and might struggle to get consistant games until the end of the year. Out of the 3 u named I'd probably pick heppel. To much risk for me with the other two. But someone different and cheaper maybe look at enright. Has been average so far this year but I can't see him being quiet for to much longer. Has averaged 86 plus for the last 6 years.

its me lads

1. Definitely hold him this week then if not named possibly suckling/birchall or carrazzo

2. Boyd or Swanny but i would definitely lean towards swan.

3. not keen on that but if you need the $$ then take it.

4. no don't downgrade him.

If you have a decent amount of trades left then maybe think about smedts out then treloar into forward line and get gibson into midfield. or Treloar to Gibson the smedts to Beams

Yeah, who were you thinking would be a good replacement for Duffman? So Swan over Boyd? Yeah I don't think I will downgrade a ruck. Yeah how good do you think his JS is though? That's the only thing that is a worrying me.

Either Heppell or Grimes. Carrazzo is the best bet if you wait a week...Do you have Waters?  ???

Whose JS? Croziers? Who really knows for sure. One week Sam Shaw had 'dodgy JS' and now he is assumedly safe as houses.

So you reckon Swanny over Boyd? Yeah I'm leaning towards getting rid of Duffman. What about Billie Smedts mate? What would you do with him.
