Thompson or Pendlebury?

Need to complete my mids. Do I wait for Pendlebury or trade for Thompson now? My trade finger is mighty itchy... Also if I trade now Treloar wont drop in price again saving me some coin. So is it crazy talk to not wait on Pendles, or do you guys think the Thompson idea has some merit?

Current Mids: Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Watson, Mitchell, Treloar, (McDonald, Gibson)

Depends on how quickly you want that extra midfielder. If you are going fro overall go straight to Thompson, if you are going for leagues then hold to see how Pendles comes back. :)

the coin you save should give you more upgrade potential in your other lines (assuming you might need it ??)
and Pendles/thommo are going to score pretty close to same IMO ...

I would have to go with Thomo purely for the fact that you can get him in now. Pendlz was not exactly setting the world on fire anyway. Very good run home for the Crows and i think they face the GC in our final round so that could be handy also.

Thompson. Really, what is the point of waiting? Unless you have Forward/Defence upgrades to do, there is not really any point in waiting? Unless you think Pendles>Thompson by a looooong way. I think Thommo will smash North this week(even though he missed training with illness), he's right to go this week. Ready to fire and a good draw lies ahead. Pendles gets the tag more often than Thommo, and even if he isn't always restricted its much easier for him to have a bad game.

If you look at the crow's midfield right now it is almost unstoppable. If Thompson is tagged Danger/Sloane will step up and Thommo will step up when needed. They have others that can play midfield. They're all dangerous, and Thommo won't get tagged every week. For example, last week C.Jones went to Sloane and Thompson fired out a massive 141.
