i did something similar last year Got to see North beat the dons and Blues beat the Swans (as well as Force beat Rebels in union) Had a great weekend

Tried to do it this year but $4k dentist bill stopped that.

We actually went in June 2010 the Melbourne long weekend and i was great
after a 6 hour flight delay leaving Perth we basically had to check into our hotel and get to the Friday night game.
Went to 3 games that weekend
Carlton v Roos Etihad Friday
Bombers v Cats Etihad Saturday
Eagles v Richmond MCG(we got flogged) Sunday still loved being at the MCG tho.
Flew out Monday
This time leaving Thursday Arvo coming back Monday night.

I flew in Friday arvo dropped bags off at the hotel and went to Rebels v Force.
After the game went a pub to watch the last quarter of the dogs v Crows.

Woke up the next day after lunch and went to Roos v dons, then went to the casino and watched Waratahs v Brumbies, St Kilda v Geelong and Brisbane v Richmond as all the screens were close together.

Woke up the next morning checked out went to Swans v blues and then after the game jumped on a plane back to Sydney.
Died the next day at work

Still trying to get over there re the catch up which is slowly fading into the horizon, but hope yet tho.
