Sandman replacement

I still have Sandilands (thanks Redden for filling in this week even if you are a spud).

If Stephenson plays this week I can probably delay the decision for another week and get Maric but if he doesn't play then I would like to make the move this week.

Because of a low amount of trades I want to get someone who is likely to play out the season/someone I can set and forget in the rucks (barring LTI). So I'm not too keen on Goldstein and Griffin,with McIntosh and Sandi to return around finals time.

I guess I'm almost answering my own question here - wait a week and get Maric.

But, is there anyone else out there that you would consider getting in this week?

Jacobs, Nic Nat, Roughead, Mumford, Ryder, Lobbe (lol).

My other ruck is Cox.

I'm keen on getting Griffen....But yeah, waiting for Ivan is the best option but....

Sandi listed as 9 weeks, that means 'he could' be back round 21-22.

i have been prietty happy with jacobs. He might not be the highest scorer week in week out but has played every game, is the no.1 ruck at the crows and should only get better with the fixture we have. So since your looking for a reliable ruckman if big o isnt named i'd say jacobs is your guy with maric having the bye

With hmac out too I'm waiting for maric to have his bye then pick him up next week for sandi and then have giles as 2nd ruck until hmac comes back.

I'm keen on Griffin too. The 130k difference between him and Ivan is a big factor, that's a defensive upgrade right there.

What's your plan for finals though Windigo? He could potentially come back a few rounds earlier, say 19 or so, but either way he'll definitely be back before seasons end so it's effectively an extra trade you'll have to make later.

For that reason I'm tossing up between him and Jacobs. Jacobs will probably score slightly lower, but only by maybe 5 ppg, and will play the whole season. After looking at their likely scores I think I'm almost convincing myself of Jacobs... the only thing Griffin has going for him is he would be a big POD in my leagues.
