Is it worth the gamble?

I don't see Clay Smith getting a game any time soon... Is it worth bringing in an unproven Sam Gibson (cheap as chips) to get a bit of cash and avoid a donut?

Windigo

yeah I reckon.

I got in Sammy G.

Gun in VFL and could be the next Magnar.

Ive taken the risk and bought him in. I did make a bit more cash than you will from it, but it avoids a donut and being 26, I think he is every chance to come out and burn. Mature body, hard worker. Just what the Roos need! Better bench option than Smith for sure!

I'm contemplating the exact same thing but with kennedy from GWS, I think i'm going to lose my league game anyway as i have 2 less players playing than him so i'm gonna wait a week i think..... but who knows in the last few minutes tonight before lockout

Certainly a very risky decision, as his JS will depend on his form this weekend. If he stinks it up, it will be a trade wasted. I'm going to wait out the two weeks.

I'd definitely get rid of C.Smith asap. He's not likely to get games soon, and once he does it'll be as a sub.

If he does well in his first two games then I'll jump on.  Seems a bit early to be jumping on this early.  It all depends on if you are facing a donut and have a tough game.  Even then it's sill risky.

Screw it, I'll just cop the extra zero... I think I'll be on 6 donuts or something stupid anyway.....
