Anyone tempted by Goldstein?

Unless Redden somehow plays instead of Lobbe most have another donut in the rucks. Only concern is Goldstein dropping away when HMac is back,forcing another trade. Also would rather Griffin or Mummy but it's a week too early! Is it worth getting Goldstein to avoid a donut, have 3-4 weeks good scores(stating with a potentially huge one vs GC) then use another trade? I have 14 after getting S.Shaw.

I'm not sure on Goldy. Unless I've missed something, once HMac returns to the number 1 ruck spot in 4-5 weeks Goldy could almost find himself in the VFL again. North seem to prefer McIntosh as the main ruck, so you will most likely get some awesome scores from Goldy until he returns, then who knows!

I am extremely tempted, but wont. HMac will come back and its no doubt going to affect his scores even though he still will probably stay in the side. Be great for 4-5 weeks but come finals it may bite you. I think im going to wait and maybe go direct trade Giles>Mumford

I have a feeling north are just using Hmac as no.1 atm in hope they can use him as trade bait next season :P

I will still have 6 trades by the end of the byes. I do one upgrade then save the rest for LTI and Finals. 5 weeks will get us to the finals then he will need match fitness so maybe 2nd week of finals he'll be back. Use a finals trade sideways Goldy to Ivan when H-Mac returns. Sounds good to me
