Is he the real deal this year?? I need 1 more upgrade up back and I'm not liking the look of Suckling/Birchall this year, Scotland is out and I don't want the Heath Shaw coaster.

Current backs are Delidio, Goddard, Waters, Heppell, Lake, Hargrave, Clarke (Morris, Spurr)

Will go Clarke -> Shaw this week, then upgrade Morris the following and I'm seriously considering Grimes.

bit worried about him injury wise, every game i've seen of him this year he's been KO'ed or got an injury of some sort. the real question is, can his body hold together... cos he certainly is dt relevant

He has always been capable of scoring well its just that an injury is only a game away for this guy. If he can stay injury free he is a good pick. Probably keep a trade spare if you're getting him

great for dt the kid can play. but like the others have said injuries are his only problem goes in hard for the footy bust usually comes off 2nd best. took a heavy knock against the pies could have been alot worse

Congrats to the people who took a punt on him at the start of the year. It's paying off now.

However, for everyone else, it's hard to trade him in because he's so injury prone. With the number of injuries to our DT guns this year and the continually growing ruck crisis, I dont think it's wise to trade in grimes at this point.

With the luck I've had with some of my trade ins this year (Heppell, Zaharakis etc) I could see that happening to me :P
He's a little hard to pass up though...Who would you recommend if not him?

Carrots should be 350k in a few weeks if he plays this weekend...
