Matt Campbell, Cruize Garlett, Ben McKinley, Ben Warren & Ben Speight have been moved on from the club. They join rookies, Malcolm Lynch, Brad Mangan and Gavin Urquhart in departing the club.

Saw most of them coming. Garlett and Campbell wants to go through pre-season trade period or whatever right?

roo boys!

Yeah Garlett and Campbell are seeking new homes anyway, not sure how much of the Campbell decision was made by the club and how much by Matty, but I know Cruize had his heart set on going home to WA and will play WAFL if not picked up.

Could see the other ones coming, the only real surprise packet is Speight but has hardly played over the last year or two so it's fair enough.

Leaves us with picks 15, 38, 42, 48 and 58.

Getting picks 42 and 48 from collingwood was probably a win win for both clubs, given that collingwood were not going to use pick 48, but improves norths draft position with that pick and only droip 3 places with 42 instead of 39.

The next pick is 63, and the upgraded rookies after that, so looking to pass on pick 63 by the looks of things.  Whats the latest on Jacobs.  If he leaves Port, then North are back the draft order for the PSD, behind Essendon, Richmond, and St. Kilda, who all have picks before us, but North would now have plenty of salary cap room if Jacobs decided to put a high price on himself in an effort to get to North.  perhaps a long shot, but he would be a good get if we got him via the PSD.  Obviously we would have to delist one more prior to the PSD if Jacobs were in the mix.

roo boys!

Yeah not sure what the go with Jacobs is, like you said I'm sure we have plenty of room, Hmac, Edwards, Pedo, Campebell, Garlett, Warren, Speight, McKinley, Lynch, Mangan and Urquhart (rookies but still take up a bit of space) all gone and only Gysberts in at this stage would do wonders for the cap one would think.

Yeh no real surprises there. Good luck to the boys in getting picked up again
