What the hell do i do with clay smith?

He has been spudding up my bench all year and now that i am being faced with 6 donuts i think he needs to go. I know everyone has been saying don't trade because it just means you get a donut in another round. However, i don't think Clay will get a game anytime soon which means he won't be able to cover for in rounds 12 or 13. I have enough cash in the bank to get any midfielder except for stanton. At the moment i am tossing up between selwood and cotchin. Selwood is proven and cotchin has a very easy back end to the year and has been scoring well so far against harder teams.
