Had a back spasm and not playing opening NAB cup game.

Put him in your side at your own risk!!!!! I know it has changed my thinking.

Being a Bombers man I desperately want to believe this guy can and will play, but he is simply too much of a risk for SC. He'd be a cash cow, but how many games will he play and how much will his price go up? Nup, sorry Scott, you're fired.

flower. The word 'Chronic' keeps going back and forth through my head. I think the injury is not just being categorized as chronic for the newspaper stories it is chronic in nature, eg: never going away or never getting right.

I picked up Watts to cover for Scott. I feel that
A. Watts will be given every opportunity to have an impact maybe 22 games
B. If gumbo was right he would score better than Watts.

If I take off the Red & Black glasses this is tough news. But Robbie Tarrant is injury prone too, got tapescott and Lane, Rusling is overpriced and injury prone, its a tough one.

On the positive side of thing Winderlich has gone through and come back from a similar injury. Does gumby need to work out his ore more or something... I know Hird had to lose some weight when he had foot problems. I know cousins does extra training to starve of hammys wonder if Gumby is doing everything he can.

Coach Matthew Knights said the injury was not serious and stemmed from an innocuous incident.

"He slightly twisted and locked up his back", said Knights. "However, Jason Winderlich copped a heavy knock last season, had a back spasm, then three or four days' later freed up pretty well.

"We're hoping it's along a similar lines to that."

Yeah, I read that, but last year I read that he did a hamstring and next thing you know he was getting his back operated on.

I'd love to get him but I think he is too much of a risk. I hope like hell he proves me wrong though.

a lot of his injuries have been due to his bones growing too fast for his muscles... hopefully now that his growth is settling down they should be able to get it right, and this is just a little hiccup!
