Who should I downgrade to get Marley Williams from the pies?

Devon Smith
James McDonald
Kyal Horsely

Ok, so I am going to have 5 donuts this week with Shaw and Christesen injured and Horsely dropped. I'm planning on using 1 trade to reduce that to 5, as half a dozen donuts is a bit piggish. I'm definetly getting on williams, need the 200k he will provide me and I don't care if his JS is poor. My midfield is pretty ordinary as I have finished my backs and forwards already instead as luck would have it. I will get Thommo in a couple of weeks and then an underpriced pendles later to finiah it off. Here it is currently, with the players in bold not playing:
Ablett, Swan, Barlow, Shuey, D. Smith, J Mac, (Zorko, Horsley)

So I will trade one of MacDonald, Smith or Horsely for Williams.

James McDonald: $292800 82 average 61 BE
Smith: $296 600. Average - 69 BE- 69
Horsely: $308, 700. Average - 86 BE 112.

I'm thinking of going Horsely as his JS seems shaky and his trade will get me the most. Both Smith and old mac can achieve their bes imo after their week off. Anyone think I should do otherwise? $36, 300 and 13 trades remaining.

I think the Horse.

You keep two very handy players around for the other two byes while Horse could be shacked up in the stable for the bye rounds making you much doughies.

Similar conundrum... Don't like this dudes JS though and could possibly be just moving a doughie across a week :-\

I don't know, think 'we' should go Horse though...

So let's see...

You have 3 out in the mids. So that's 3 doughies.

You trade to Marley. You get 2 doughies. Instead of 3.

Next week, you have Swan & Barlow+Marley out. You get one doughie.

In essence, you gain nothing as you could not trade and have no 0's in the mids Round 12.

Only way is to have a DPP link.

I donhave DPP link with Smith and Zorko, and any of Dangerfield, Zaharakis, Martin, Christensen and sidebottom can be swapped into the mids, not that jt will help next round...I think. However, it is wrong to say I gain nothing for the trade. I gain 200k, and a player who is more likely than Horsely imo in round 13, possibly avoiding another dounut.

Ah, yes. Very good point.  ;)

I've had another thought. Say I downgrade horsely for williams, I can upgrade d smith/ old mac for mitchell, leaving me with 11 trades and ~80k left. It avoids a donut as I will only have 2 round 13 mid donuts (him and gaz). Mitch also has a pretty easy run home. Thoughts? Which one of out d smith and macdonald should go? Thinking J mac simply because he can't be trusted to string games together.

Who would you keep then out of Old Mac and D Smith?

I can't handle Jmac's random coaching holidays. Especially in the hectic bye schedule.
