The It

Calf injury and out for 4 weeks.

What to do with him. Can't afford to hold him during the byes and most already have too many round 13 back premiums anyway.
Do i trade to a round 12 premium just for one week and avoid a zero and then have extra backup for the round 13 bye or just cop it and carry the zeros.

Should i trade to Broughton, Heppell, Johnson or other.

Current Backline :
Deledio, Scotland??, Birchall, Shaw??, Goddard, Hargrave, Darley (Ellis, Smedts??)

Got 241 800 left

I reckon Johnson. He can also be used a a forward and unlike Broughts, he scores well were he plays. What I mean by that is Lyon may play Broughton in defence at times and that will affect his scoring so get him at youre own risk. Johnson has been solid all year and doesnt look like dropping off.

If you tell me youre defence and cash I may find a better option

Im going to advice going to grimes, but be warned its a very risky pick but could pay of big time. I would say broughton is probably the safetest pick though and besides his first 2 games (when he was in my team) he has been very consistent.

i'll be keeping him and hoping he is back in round 14 or 15 at worst. Whats one more donut each round :)

Bit soft 4 weeks for a calf most durable guy going round, carnage.... What if Shaw misses next week are we going to trade him too, and Waters will miss a couple of weeks going to trade him.

No way there is enough trades to prevent the carnage that is coming, resting and the general soreness are just sharpening thier blades and the killing of fantasy scores everywhere is only going to get bloodier

Yep, he's a keeper, i bet someone else will get injured/rested from your team, you can trade them. Maybe try the strategy of keeping your premo's and taking their donuts, then trade for your other guys. You just can't trade your way out of all the carnage, your gonna cop something.
If you want a rd 12 premo though, I'd say Broughts/Hepp.

yeah well said colli, i was looking at getting rid of him but that'll be about the 3rd sideways trade ive done and i havnt had the trades to do any of them so i'll be holding him as much as it might hurt. Positive could be heppel comes back in for me so i dont lose to much this week

If you werto trade him i'd get grimes, he has averaged 92.5 in his last 6 games. I started off with him and held onto him despite his slow start, one of the few good decisions i have made this year.

Im taking the 0. Hope Smedts JS improves.
