Thanks Uncle.

I think I will run with Hille because I agree that he is far and away the best 2nd ruckman in the comp.

Cox is a certain starter for me. He will kill it this year. I'm tipping at least a 105 average (or better).

I can't think of a better ruck combo assuming both are fit. Should average approx. 200 DT points between them each week.

Crossed fingers Hille stays healthy !

I think if you lock Cox in as your No.1 and Jesse White in as your No.3, you can afford to take some sort of risk in your #2 spot.

Hawks_1976: Would appreciate your thoughts on my comments earlier that Robbie Campbell seems to be highly undervalued for a starting, premiership ruckman. Is still young (26) and has played 20+ games for a few seasons at a reasonable, if not massive average. Would you agree that he would make a good No.2 ruckman for DT purposes? cheers

I'd say no on Robbie Campbell.
If Thorp or Dowler have no success locking down the CHB position in Croad's absence, Campbell will be the one put back there. He did some very brief stints down back last year when we were light on key defenders and did ok.
Then Taylor and Renouf would rotate duties in the middle.
The Hawks are also keen to get Max Bailey out on the paddock too but I'm not sure on his current progress returning from injury.
It's only a speculative scenario with Campbell, but one that casts enough doubt in my mind to say no.

Uncle

i agree with a definate no to robert campbell... i agree that jesse white is a good 3rd ruck. but IMO if ya can find a little extra coin, rob warnock is the 3rd ruck from heaven!
