hey guys, posed this question about my old mans team in the darley thread but it didn't get any love.

already done bugg->darley this week, so 1 trade left (14 overall) and 295k in the bank. think magner has run his race.

he's not especially worried about bye structure.

i am pretty sure that any team that doesn;t have scott thompson come finals will be at a disadvantage (given his draw and his propensity to rack up cricket scores vs crap teams), but that doesnt mean getting him now is the best option. i was leaning toward jobe. also interested to hear a DT perspective on priddis (though a final 6 mids with him in it is average imo).

here is his team:
b: lids, godd, scotland, broughton, shaw, malceski, darley (ellis, smedts)
m: boyd, ablett, pendles, magner, horsely, jmac (swan, adams)
r: cox, kruezer (giles, redden)
f: sidebottom, chappy, franklin, danger, dustin, treloar, zorko (pfeiffer, hall)

I love Jobe.  So consistent.  All scores above 100 so far this year except two, which were both in the 90's (against GC and GWS though, wtf).

T Dog

Cotchin seems to be going ok as well. :o

Jukes

Stants is averaging the most of all players...go figure.

the results of this poll so far are... confusing.

seriously, can someone explain the love for selwood?!?! (and i'm a geelong supporter)

LF

Well i think that he has the lowest BE and has more of a chance to make his BE than the other players
Also he is quite cheap atm
maybe those couple of reasons

DT Gun

break evens mean nothing if your picking a keeper..

Joel selwood has only scored under 100 when he got knocked out!

maybe keep the money and plan for byes
