had the game on Radio (thanks again 7) and it went for what, 37 minute last quarter, and sounded like a beauty!! go Lions, haha weekend of up-sets, Goald Coast to knock of the Woods :P

Just back from the game - No voice left. 38 minute last quarter nail biting but 77 points scored in last quarter between both sides. We were not helped by a 10.3 penalty count in second half 3 of which led to direct goals. Usually do not bag umpires as they have a difficult job to do but I may make an exception in this case as imo it was the worse case of one sided umpiring I have seen for a number of years. I can say that because we did win.
Putting all that aside it was one of the best games of AFL I have seen at the Gabba and well done boys. If Drummond can stay fit may be a handy pick up did look good today, Reddan showing some form at last as well and didn't Green make an impact when subbed nice bit of pace..
Regretting not playing Zorko on the Field instead of Treloar.

After watching the replay of the game even more convinced on the umpiring which was the talk among members after the game along with the great win. (was the first time for a couple of years have actually joined in the booing of umpires) Saw even more frees that should have went our way. There were no consistincies with the 50 metres paid for going over the mark at one end and then calling back at the other. This is what I find most annoying do not mind the marginal calls etc but when obvious inconsistincies come in it hurts.
Enjoyed the replay and the way the commentators kept saying the crowd does not know but we know how much time is left. At the ground we were saying blow the B#$@ siren after the Polkinghorne Goal.
Memo to Voss as well Rich is a definite Midfielder not a H/b so keep in mids even when Black comes back.

Was surprised when I got home and found Rockliff only scored 88 SC points. Suppose the 3 frees against hurt. Did not see him take a mark but he was in and under most of the day. An interesting tactic from the coach though is that he started from the bench in each quarter!!!

We need to keep the momentum up with a big game against Hawthorn after the bye. Hope we are in the same form as we displayed against the Eagles and another upset on the cards. :D :D

well we all saw what richmond did to hawthorn with their fast paced game if we can play our fast style of play like we did against west coast i reckon we are a chance to sneak a win against them
