need some advice on picking this kid up.  looking for a fwd downgrade for d.smith.  is he going to get a game soon.  also got the dud smedts sitting in the backs

I can't see any reason why they would start playing him. If Geelong rest a few players then maybe he could get a gig this week but he'll never have good enough JS to be a good cow or bench cover.

I have had him on the pine all year coz I liked his form in pre-season and thought he'd be used on the half forward flank. He is regularly named in the best for the reserves but breaking in to the Geelong forward line might be tough.
