Shane -
Backs All good bar Waite (may not be up to speed come rd.1, i suspect he may start with a couple of 50s and 60s and cop a reduction then burst off) and Schoenmakers, should play but will he accumulate?

Mids: Strong here Swannie a little overs value wise, would look at Pendles before him. McLean fair choice may work. C. Young not ready yet i've read from the Hawks Big Footy supproters. Blease is he ready yet?

Rucks: Extremely well covered Lobbe apparently preferred to Trengrove

Forwards: Gia nice original pick, haven't heard about Kerr, can't see Pods getting enough games to be a cow?

Probably fair to say that no cows evident in Saints and Cats - wait till nab cup.

thanks for the feedback lozza
rookies can't really be set till after nab cup and before round 1 when we all know more about them !!
waite is a risk I know, had him in and out and back in again.  Narrowly lost my work league last year.  I started slowly and came from 7th on the ladder and just trying to do the same this year, but go one better !!! we have a trophy and I want my name on it
For this reason, I have tried to pick some real 'pick them in original team and forget about them (GAJ,  SWAN GOODES PAV etc)' and a few like WAITE KENNELLY BUDDY etc who will just get better as the season goes on.  I have found tht if you are up near the top of your league, all the focus is on you whereas if you hang around 4th to 8th you slip under the radar a bit easier !

Bs Flyers

I like it, a couple of risks (Waite and Gia) that could really pay off especially in the long term with Waite.  I am warming to Scoenmakers (the lower the funds in my team get  ;D) and could be very good value if he can take up where Croad left off, but that's a pretty big if.  Big issue for me Gumble and Talia starting a bit risky imo.

Scratchy

I really don't see Tahlia playing much this year. Neil Craig often doesn't play First years and limited TOG if he does.
Davis (08 first round pick) didn't play last year but should this year (still risky having him on-field I reckon)
Dangerfield (first round pick the year before) had 2 games (admittedly he was finishing school but I don't think it really changed that much).
Guys looking to take Andy Otten's spot: Davis, Sellar, Moran, McKernan, Tahlia.
Obviously if Sellar is moved to the backline then it gives Griffin or Moran an opportunity in ruck. There are various permutations most of which exclude the new boy unfortunately.
I've heard Blease is not ready.
I like your rucks (same as mine).
I'm really concerned about the backline; although I've picked Waite, he's my only real risky option back there whereas you have Kennelly returning to AFL and Davis onfield.
Similar forwards to me but I don't have Gumby or Tahlia at all (let alone on field)
