is he worth downgrading to....

with Jacobs doing the bulk of the ruckwork Jenkins will have plenty of chances to score goals and will probably be called upon to backup Jacobs from time to time....

at a rookie price should i consider?

(yeah i know the Carlton backmen arent the best)

I'm passing.  I saw that he had something like 80 points from 11 possessions.  In my eyes, that 80 could have quite easily been 40 points if he didn't do those one percenters.

He can take a mark, he can kick a goal, i'll give you that. Not really worth downgrading to though as you only really need him for the bye, otherwise just stick with big o or redden. Unless you need somebody playing, he's not very useful especially as he shares the rd 11 bye with most good rucks.

You just won't need him unless you consider this (slightly) crazy idea:
Giles > Jenkins for money, and then do an upgrade.
But, Giles is still going strong, could be keeper whereas Jenkins is gonna need goals or more ruck time every game to score a decent 75+. You don't particularly need bench cover for ruck so he'll do no good if you end up getting another premium ruck.

I wouldn't trade Giles.  not with the current rucks performing so average.  Giles is one of the few rucks to actually play all the games and score at a consistent rate.

With Maric and sandy as my starters, Its tempting to go Giles to Jenkins. Only thing that concerns me is his JS. If he plays through the bye rounds the cash used now would be benficial to my team.

I know. That's why its crazy. Not worth the trade really to get Jenkins in. Unless you don't have anyone playing. ???
