First timer doin reasonably good.... but want some tips

Ok, having never done SC before (i've done DT for a few years).... i was invited to join my brothers league, and did it to fill some numbers. Now it turns out i'm actually doing ok but wouldn't mind some feeback.

Team is currently just scraping into the top 1% (sitting about 800 from the leader).

I just want to go as hard as i can up the OA ladder and am not 100% concerned aobut my league.

Team is:

Backs: Goddard, Scotland, Suckling, Hurn, Clarke, Hargrave, Morris (Bugg, Smedts)

Mids: Pendles, Watson, Boyd, Judd, Magner, Greene (JMac, Horsley)

Rucks: Cox, Giles (Redden , O)

Fwds: Sidebottom, Franklin, Danger, Pav, Porps, Kennedy, Treloar (D Smith, Hall)

19 Trades, $328,400 in the bank


My immediate thoughts are downgrade Kennedy, upgrade Porps (help with first multi-bye)

My other thoughts are some mid upgrades ( was even looking at mitchell this week), and possibly NDS or Murphy down the track. (Imagine that .... a team with no Swannie or Ablett)

Was hoping to get thru the multi-byes using about 6 trades (still cop a couple of 0's here and there)

Any thoughts on my current team and where i can best improve?
