Problems

Usually I wouldn't trade in a rookie who hasn't played a single game yet but I need to make some money thru my defs or fwds and the only other rookie I'm slightly interested in is Taylor Adams who has his own issues other than GWS' roation policy :-X

I'm interested to know people's thoughts on $108k Spurr who was much hyped up in the preseason..
During the NAB Cup games he scored:
R1.1~ 19
R1.2~ 44
R2~ 25
R3~ 70

Will he be in Freo's team for long? ??? What will his role be? ??? Will he be a factor DT-wise? ???

Here's an unhelpful write up from the Dockers website:
Spurr envisaged a role in defence, where he has played most of his football, but he was just happy to do his bit for the team, wherever he played. “I’ll fight the fight, go in hard and do what’s required of me to play my role,” he said.

Freo’s General Manager of Football, Chris Bond, said Spurr had stepped up in all areas of training since arriving at the club and richly deserved his debut. “He’s a really competitive beast and he’s played some great footy in South Australia at a successful club,” he said.

Well.... I'm pretty sure he's a GUN!!!!
i'd say he finally got his oppurtunity and i reckon he'll be good.
I can feel it!!

Mr.Craig

Anyone who can average 20+ pozzies at Centrals is alright with me. I'll be having a good look at him along with Docherty in the coming weeks. They just need to get some games under their belts.

I can't speak for his JS but if you were going to take a gamble on any back rookie right now it would be him.

Justin Bieber

He got like 14 touches on the weekend in the ressies.... Don't see him a huge score  :-\

His JS will be iffy at best. Performance will be sub affected so he wont earn cash quickly enough

Disagree i reckon he will make you quick cash, not really the sub type, similar to morris in some ways that he would play. What lez he got 44 in a shortended half clearly potenial good scores the only Q is how long can he hold the spot?

jabroni

hes last on the bench so might be a sub 2 rounds like neale was so doubt his b/e will be high especially given his role

dicey7

hopefully he goes well we need a few defender rooks to downgrade too!

Spurr will be sub this week. Neale has been sub twice already and it's spurr's debut so yeah...

Mr.Craig

Hmmm, Ross Lyon is the FMDT specialist isn't he. Even when it's not his fault it just feels good to blame him for stuff. ;D

Artax

Hopefully get to see Neale run a full game

Roasted Rookies

With Fyfe out its making me wonder if Neale could be a good pick up if he escapes the vest from now on.. it sure is tempting..
