Wanting to maintain my ranking i think i should trade now to bring my guns in asap.
Who should i start this week:

Brandon Ellis & Devon Smith - Both potential subs

Billie Smedts & Dyson Heppell (Trade In) - one potential sub


I am very nervous starting Smedts after last week, but I'm hoping against the Dees they will give him a solid run.
I am also willing to miss out on D.Smiths extra 20k he could potentially make over the next weeks to get a gun in now in Heppell.

Keep and field Ellis + Smith.

I reckon they'll score the same these combos(if Smedts gets 40+)

I would never start smedts after 4.......

By their averages:

Ellis (58) + Smith (65) = 123

Smedts (30) + Heppell (89) = 119

Smedts will get better but not overly quickly.

Am all for aggressive trading but not this one :)

Smith will certainly not be the sub this week, and I doubt Ellis will either altough there is a slight chance that he might. These are my estimated scores for the players:
Smith 70
Ellis 60
Smedts 50
Heppell 90

Smith and ellis nets you 130 points, while smedts and heppell gives you 140. That extra 10 points is not worth a trade imo.

why should i hold off though?

i will have a player who i wish to have by the end. he can guarantee me a solid score.

rookies can be so inconsistent. waiting around smith is only gonna make me another 20k i feel. not much i can do with that at this stage. I'm really torn on this one.

If it was for a super premo like deledio, goddard or scotland who will score tons far more often than they will not then I'd be more for it. Smith has been consistent apart from when he was vested, but that won't happen again for a while imo. How many trades do you have left?

i have 20 trades left and am ranked 1,600 odd.

you've talked some sense into me. its not worth it at this stage. I've already got all the super premos so ill hold off. cheers.
