I can see why someone might consider this.

Vice captain loophole (potentially worth 20 points) + Extra points each week GAJ is out (ie Stanton vs Rookie) say 40 points times number of weeks (say 3) + may have cash cows ready to peak in 3 weeks (eg Magner and Shiel - extra $80 000)  = GAJ BE 130 odd so won't go up a huge amount even if you miss him one week after his return for insurance against sub if NQR + $130000 difference + TOTAL of all this could be as much as 180 points ( minimum given JS of some rookies) and maybe a pile of cash that builds up and enables GAJ back in when he's ready.

Nah - just sit him on the bench.
