Anyone else whack a defender in the mids this season? (Say your Lids/Scotlands/Gods etc).  Well I did and have just realised that it could have been a mistake.

I thought yeah i'll put Scotland in defence and Delidio in the mids to get that DPP save if needed...only now am I realising that there are no current listed mid-back rookies to downgrade to so I can eventually remove Lids from the midfield to make way for another premium :(

What this leaves me with is a lesser scoring potential due to the % of high scoring mids vs backs.

Anyone else make this seemily 'rookie' mistake  :-[ :-\

I was initially going to link with the likes of luke brown and docherty, but they didnt play so i decided against it. Never intended to use a premo as the link, and there were plenty of good mid rookies going around.

I don't think it's that bad, you might just have to downgrade a back, then swap lids into the back, then trade in a mid (using the new trading system obviously).
If no good mid/def rookies present themselves that would be the way to go.

When u say using the new trading system...how do u mean?

yorgis

trade out a defender, move your mid/def into the back lines , and then trade in a mid

just like andy said, trade out a back rook, move lids to the backline , then trade in a mid rook.....1 trade used  8)

or just wait for docherty, davis or maybe baguley who might get a run in the anzac day clash

Because Deledio is a mid/back, when you try and trade a back, you have the option for putting a mid player in (automatically moving Deledio to the backs)

Its not difficult when you select a player to trade, it gives you all your options

Right well that makes it so much simpler then.  You just have to press the S button on Lids in the right column and he is shifted into the backs.  SUPER!

Thanks guys

Definitely a better option than waiting for Docherty to show himself. :D
