Im definately trading Hale --> O.Stephenson, allowing me to switch Giles into team.

My backs are considered "weak", but scoring well and making good $$
My mids are not fully fledged premiums, but scoring well
My Forwards are solid (barring Reid)

What do I do with the spare cash??

Didn't see how Bower went this week, but with two? injuries to Blues defenders he should stay in the side for a couple more yet, don't trade out cash cows until they have done thier job for you.

If Fyfe doesn't get up you may also need to deal with him? If Dempsey doesn't maybe him? but i expect he certainly will.

Consider waiting for teams and if Longer is named bring him in over the BIG O, thats twice now he has failed to line up for the cats, Longer is in a similar boat at the lions but hudson is old and surely cant do it all on his own while burger is out.

In short I wouldn't do anything other than trade in your rooks that have peeked which by the looks of it none of yours have yet.

If you have a ton of cash trade in your closest rook to peeking in value to a premium so you score more makes sense.

Sorry, with Hale traded to Orren, Ill have $425k spare..... if I traded Hale to Longer Id have $370k spare.

Team looks pretty good.  How many trades have you used?  Did you really start with Selwood, Kennedy & Masten?  Thats quite incredible if you did.

I think McDonald is a must have pick.  Would be inclined to do 2 downgrades.  Spend the cash the week after.

Would help if you put the cash remaining but in order of what I would do

1. Reid to Sidebottom
Reason: Reid I was never sold on. Sidebottom should be a first picked upgrade target with guarnteed midfield time with Ball out for the year. Tippet may be uiwue but if you have watched his supercoach scores over the pst few years he has been known to be one of the more incosistent performers. If you have ALOT of paitence he may be an option.
2. Bower to Goddard.
Reason: Give bower a bit more time to get some cash. And with Laidler and Carrazo out for up to 8 weeks he should slot in every week without a doubt. Goddard is the must have defender so get him in ASAP but for unique Hibberd or Duffield would be a good pick.
3. Shiel to Premium mid.
Reason: DON'T TRADE SHIEL! I have been upset that people are considering him as the first person to downgrade/upgrade. He is still holding a minor ijury and if his disaposal effiecy was a tad better he would be averaging 80+. He averaged 137 supercoach in the NEAFL last year and his averaging 20 disposals this year. Clay Smith would be a better option to downgrade/upgrade. Also Stanton is to incosistent again. Murphy or Pendlebury are better picks. Also your midfield is potentially your best position if all your risks pay off.

Also look at trading Fyfe if he is pronounced a LTI. And last thing don't trade until friday as you will not be able to reverse your trades after the first bounce tomorrow.
