Hi All,

Thoughts on Jobe Watson this year.  He has not apeared in many teams, is this because he will be tagged tag every week and can't score when he does?

I have him in my team as a point of diference atm.

Watson is a good player for the dons but tends to handball more than kick. His kicking is better than a few years ago though. He is an in and under player. i had my eye on him throughout last year but alot of people only noticed him after his 196 game. He won't likely get tagged unless he is running rampant. I would expect stanton to get tagged ahead of him.

Although I think he would've thought he was better in DT a couple of years ago he has all of those clearances and he's improved his kicking so he's now a viable option in SC although I'd beware do you think he can cope with the added pressure of being captain?

I still think the kicking is a bit off, and has some quite games, bit of a risk could pay up big... or not

He's a better DT player, but I think the issue is, that there are so many better players out there than Jobe.

SLOW but good contested ball winner. Captainship could work as extra incentive.

Captaincy could go either way though, hasn't even played 100 games yet and he's either going to step up again and become an even better player or it could get bad, I think the first is the more likely but it's a lot of pressure on a young bloke
