$1,095,200 for a defender and midfielder

In that case, I would go for Hurn and Jobe Watson.

Jobe is a beast, it's a matter of whether I can deal with his low score this week and possibly next.  Carlton have a tendancy to make good SC players underperform.  Mainly due to Carrazo

Hurn and Selwood = $1 067 000.

I am tempted with Joel, I know he'll do well every week.  I wouldnt mind having a bit of cash left over for other possible trades...

Geez this is tricky!

No doubt you will have a stack of rookies with low and even negative BE's.

Money shouldn't be a problem, especially with McDonald and maybe Treloar on very big bubbles after this week.

Joel good for the soul
Hurn ready to burn

Another option which will give you a POD is Firrito and Selwood for $ 1006300 leaving you $89k cash.  Firrito is slipping under the radar imo has been playing good footy and a B/e of only 37 this week so will rise in price again.
