Sorry not fantasy related but watching Sewell talk about there loss on Sunday on afl 360 and not once did he mention Gibson doing his ankle and that being apart of them losing..!! I know they lost contested ball and jpk tore them apart but once Gibson went off that's when it all went pear shaped someone please correct me if I'm wrong..!!

mate josh gibson will be the differance between many positions on the ladder for the hawks imo

That's what Im thinking crabapples.. Having a punt on st Kilda might not be such a bad gamble this weekend..!!

with birchall and gibson out i'd think about it but birch should be back.. i think a close margin is the best hope for the saints...hawks 1-24 $3.20 approx, still dunno if i'll touch it wait and see for teams.. (not that it means much these days with late withdrawels)

i still think hawks will get the job done, hodge back second game as well

Still tempting bet:
If Wilkes, Roo, Kosi and Stanley play they could cause a bit of trouble but the Hawks defence will have a field day once the ball hits the ground.
I don't reckon the Saints will win but they'll lose by under 24 that is for sure.

As a passionate hawks man, I completely agree. Gibson is the difference between a very vulnerable defence and a reasonably strong one. Not only does he take the best forward each week who is normally taller and heavier than him, he also allows the likes of Suckling and Birchall to peel off their men and be aggresive on the rebound. I'm hoping now that hodge is back we won't have to relg on him. This won;t win many fans but I do rate Tom Murphy highly and think he should be in the side.
