128 and 112. Excellent scores, Hille may be out for a while, is he back?? Should Mumford be missing again this week i know what my 2nd trade is.

Praetorian

I think Bellchambers will prove a bigger threat to Ryder's scoring than Hille, personally. As a result I wouldn't be basing my trade on Hille being out.

And what do you mean by 'back'? :P When was he ever 'in'? Unless I think he'll finish as the second or first highest-scoring ruck, I ain't interested. And I seriously can't see him scoring more over the season than Mumford.

PowerBug

He was the 2nd best ruckman oming in to 2011 wasn't he?? That's why i mean by the term 'back' ;)

But could he score 100ppg??

Praetorian

Bugger me, was he? Just goes to show how much attention I pay to Ryder. xD In case you can't tell I don't rate him personally. 100 avg seems pie-in-the-sky and he's less likely than the likes of Berger, Mumford, Jacobs, Goldstein, McEvoy etc. in my eyes.

The real question you have to ask yourself is this - if he were priced at 100ppg, would you still be after him?

"Patirck Ryder - Is he back??"

He never left.

end of 2010 the highest averaging rucks were like sandilands in the 90s, and cox, jolly, ryder in the 80s.

His scores dipped last year because of Essendon's 3 ruckman strat. Since they don't look to be using that this year, I can see him averaging 95-100

Adamant

I cant see him averaging 100, but 85-90+ seems likely, and at that price could be a good unique ruck option...

Ricochet

i completely misread the title of this thread...

Last year I jumped on Ryder to in round 3 to replace an underperforming Jolly. He had 2 awesome scores then, then spudded for the rest of the season. As tempting as it is, I'll be steering clear.

haha  how did work out for ya..  i started with him last year and the first 2 rounds he outscored sandi and cox, and i was thinking im a genius.. then  it all went down hill.. i think i even started z.smith infront of him by half way through the season..  never ever touch that bag of *@@%* again

he did the same thing last year...started the year with a bang and then ran out of steam round 4...don't bother with him.  Granted he is a talent but not worth the risk...stick with your Sandi's, cox's, jacobs etc

Well I was over broughton and wanted carrazzo but didn't have the cash. So I traded mumford for ryder and went broughton for carrazzo. Hopefully he goes alright.... I would be happy with a 85-90 average from him. Then later down the track get aim to get cox.

I have had this bloke the last two years, I gave him life only due to the fact Hird refused to play him,as the number one ruckman! He will score super every week probably 100ppg average if he stays in the ruck, eberytime he plays there he dominates, he's athletic nimble and can find the ball. If you ate confident he will play ruck 80% of the time at least ju,p on!
