Thought I'd give it a go...
I haven't thought much about the rookies, just thrown a few popular ones in for now. Some of the cheapies (hunt, mayne etc.) could easily be switched with players of a similar price.

Hurn
Hodge
Adcock
Ladson
Hunt
Sheppard

Davis
Trengove

Ablett
Pendlebury
Vince
Cooney
Cotchin

Lecras
Rioli

Cunnington
Tapscott

Any comments?

Dees for the Draft

Like it.  Very good team IMO.

I'd wait and see how Blease goes in pre-season.

He's broken his hand, so he'll miss a bit of pre-season, but he'll be right for the start of the year.

ronl

GOOD team.  If it has a weak point could be Le Cras, Rioli, Dangerfield.  Maybe another big gun in the forward line (Riewoldt, Brown, Goodes etc). I'm just not a big fan of Rioli, and Dangerfield can't kick straight.  Le Cras, I think, is the better of those three, otherwise a great team.

thanks guys,

@ Dees: yeah i heard that too about blease, hopefully he recovers or there's a better option

@ ronl: good point, I wasn't fully happy with the forwards either. Might see if I have enough cash for another premium, and will watch dangerfield's progress. There should be a lot of mid priced forwards to choose from.

Dees for the Draft

I've got to disagree on LeCras.

Wosha was talking about LeCras moving more into the midfield, which should increase his points.  I'd wait and see how he goes in pre-season.

Another suggestion for the forward line would be to bring in another rookie such as Rohan.

Maybe use the extra cash to bring in Buddy or Roughy.

Anzac

very good team, if Blease is injured get in Koby Stevens i reckon, should average pretty well next year for the Weagles.

And in the backline that is Jackson Trengrove from Port isnt it,,, its not the #2 pick in this years draft, id mabye look at getting in Mitch Farmer from the tigers, is pretty cheap and should play a bit

And dees for the draft, Roos said that Rohan wont play this year so mabye a better option would be someone like a Nason from the tigers

Kangamagic

Ozzy,

Thats a pretty good team and I would keep LeCras in there he is on the up and can get better next season.
Midfield is strong only doubt is Cotchin and if he can deliver next season in the midfield for the Tigers - if he does your onto a winner there.
Defence is solid.

Rucks are solid.

Forward line is good also. You could start Cunnington on the field and switch with  Dangerfield and maybe bring in another rookie on the bench to free up some cash. Maybe Kane Lucas? Just a thought but a good start.

Cheers Magic

Yeah, I'm fairly sold on Lecras too. Buddy is clearly underpriced, but missing the first week puts me off him a bit. Roughie I'm not sure about, a bit inconsistent.

Thanks for those rookie suggestions Anzac I'll keep an eye on them.

Cotchin might be a winner, but if he dosen't Palmer or even Ward should be good at a similar price. I was considering starting a second forward rookie since there seem to be a few good ones, if they look good enough to be starters I might. For now I think there are enough other cheap options to consider.

How's this for an alternative forward line?

O'Keefe
Deledio
Pavlich
Lecras
Mayne
Vespremi
Trengove

Cunnington
Tapscott

If O'Keefe can score like he was in the middle of the year, he will be underprced. Just as long as they don't play him forward. If not him, I'll go with Riewoldt probably.

Kangamagic

Alternative forward line is pretty good. Im keen on maybe getting Mayne and Vezpremi in my side I was keen on Vezpremi this season until he did his finger and missed 9 weeks.
Buddy is worth it as long as you have cover on the bench which it seems that you do for the first game that he is out.
