I don't understand all the hate for burning ONE trade.

Correct me if im wrong, but this game is all about risk vs benefit.

The risk of KEEPING gibbs is that one week you'll get a tonne, the next maybe another 50, based on the position he plays.

One solution is to sideways trade to another mid premo, such as Mitchell, who is almost garunteed to provide you with 100+/round... at the expense of one burnt trade early in the season..... the benefit of a steady 100+ per week far outweighs the risk of another 50-60 if Gibbs is played back....

Is this not a fair option?

the thing is, if a guy averages 110 and scores 50 then you know a string of 120's is around the corner.
