Profile setting asisstance required please ...

Pretty sure many will be able to tell me, but I was really very unsure where to stick this.
How do you go about placing the pictures next to your name when posting ???

Go to profile, then modify profile and chose forum profile.

This first thing on this page should be personalized picture. You can then either chose a picture from a gallery of pics that m0nty has put on the site, or you can choose your own by pasting in the web address of the picture :)

thanks Crowesfan, will have a go. Where do I go to do this ? And as dumb as it may seem, I've never pasted anything.

Go to your picture. Right click and press "Copy Image URL" (or something like this... Depends on your browser  ;))

Then go to the personal picture box, right click and press Paste.

Yeah, so if you are talking about changing your personal display picture, into anything else you want:

You go to your profile, then under Modify profile, click Forum profile.
Then under Personalised Picture, click 'Specify Avatar by URL'
You then go onto a webpage where the only thing there is the picture you want. (i.e this http://live.fanfooty.com.au/images/logo_small.gif and not this http://www.fanfooty.com.au/ ) you then copy and paste the link, or URL, into the box that is near there.
Then to save it, at the bottom of the page, click Change Profile. and you are done.

otherwise you 'choose avatar from gallery' and obviously, you have your options there.
