Hi All,

With the closeness of the season so far and more teams likely to be in contention for top 4 and finals is it likely that "the general" soreness and resting of players be less likely. In particular looking ahead at bye's strategy and getting premiums in, what are people's thoughts on selection of player from teams playing GWS/SUNS/Melb during the finals.

Is it now more likely that unless a position has been sewn up that stars may not be rested. This is only relevant for those aiming for league wins but in conjunction with strategy during the bye's could have a big impact on ability to win the finals. I know it is optimistic to think i will get to the finals but with trades being at a premo due to all the injuries the decisions made at rounds 11-13 may shape our ability to win our league finals or be in cotention

In particular I am looking at S.Thompson vs GC rnd 23, Swallow vs GWS, Barlow/PavMundy ( the forgotten one) vs Melb over there.

Thoughts??

scores this year tell us playing against crap teams don't always mean big scores i agree premiums from lower clubs less likely to be rested but if it's somebody you want don't let this impact your team if you want them get them back yourself it's your team
