okay so just doin some tweakin and this is what i've come up with, and really i think it looks better.

Boyd, Hargrave and Porplyzia = 1 super premo, 2 mid pricers

or

Broughton, Sidebottom, Caddy = 2 premos, 1 mid pricer

the second option will potentially give me my 14th premo, which should bring better consistancy, plus a mid pricer who seems to have massive raps.

which option should i go for? and are there any other changes you think that could make my team better?

any thoughts would be appreciated guys :)

cheers

Use teams 1 with 1 change broughton will probably outscore Birchall and will give you 1 R13 prem.
Boyd should never be considered for Caddy IMO.
Kennedy in starting lineup  :)

thanks for the reply mate

in theory it sounds bizarre.. Boyd -> Caddy, but think about it.. by the end of the year i plan to have a team full of guns.. to start the year with 14 instead of 13 will save me 2 trades, while probably scoring around the same if not more at the same time.

Boyd (120), Hargrave (80) and Porplyzia (75) = 275
Broughton (100), Sidebottom (100), Caddy (75+) = 275+

those averages are of course just a pure guess, there's no way to be exact about that sort of thing.

i know it sounds weird to out Boyd for Caddy.. but i think i will save trades without losing score?

any thoughts guys? this is a big decision that could make or break my year! please :)

Bill Manspeaker

anyone?? please i'm goin insane trying to pick...

You are torn between 2 structures -
Whether to go with a 5/3/1/4  prem Structure v 4/4/1/4 prem Structure
I am not counting Sidey as prem yet. Sidey has to increase 15 points per game to average 100 points per game and is this a realistic expectation given the Pies early hard draw.

If you consider that both Sidey and Broughton are keepers in your team and will average the 100 then Option 2.  If not they will be expensive trades for you and better to stick with Option 1.  Personally I would stick with Option1 but substitute Selwood for Boyd.

Overall you have to look at your structures and decide which has the most scoring potential for you.

cheers for the reply mate

i ended up going with Hargrave and Porps.. but with a couple of changes

i turned Swan and Boyd into Pendles and Selwood

turned out alright so far coz Pendles scored a million

thanks again for your thoughts mate :)

Ringo

Did you also have the courage to put the C on Pendles?

Bill Manspeaker

nah unfortunately i didn't :( pretty happy with Gazza's 140 though
