10k of a perfect team

I had my team sorted and than gray went down injured.

I had some money in the bank so went gray to lewis and im reasonably happy with that. The only problem is i only have 5k in the bank so my bench is couch and hall and i like to only pick rookies playing round 1 (I have kennedy on the field).


So this leaves me with a few options all of which i dont like.

Swan to Boyd and Couch to Dickson

Waters to Grimes and Couch to Dickson

M.Clarke to Yagmoor or any other player around that price than Lewis to Pav and Couch to Dickson

Hargreaves to Back rookie, lewis to Pav, waters to adcock and couch to dickson

hargreaves to back rookie, waters to h.shaw and couch to dickson

or just keep Couch and hope he gets a game soon.

A nice postion to be in there Holzman. Just a few sideways options. Me , I would keep Swan, Waters and hope Couch gets a game.

They upgraded Couch for a reason. They'll play him.

At his price he is worth keeping IMO.

just found a few more options, hargreaves on paper is the most appealing as I get aboslute guns in shaw/adcock and PAV. The only problem is i would have to play 3 out of the follwing 5 each week.   

Mart Clarke, Brandon Ellis, Steven Morris, T.Bugg and However i pick up as a back rookie

At his price he is worth keeping IMO.

the big postive here is i plan to keep him till the byes as being round 12 helps my structure. Im just worried he cant make the team now and he is uninjured i cant afford to have a non playing rookie.

Havng Swanny in your team should seen as a positive. More and more are going off him and you won't to throw away that small advantage to get another rookie who might only play a few games.

Think about, it could be Couch next week getting a game and Tory missing out.

yeah i decided Swna is out of the picture, the rest of my team is set. I have always had this bad feeling about hargreave and im not that sold on lewis either. But im probably going to just stick with couch.

leaning towards option 1 and 3. 3 solves all thei ssues of players im worried about but leaves me too short in the backline. I thnk hargreaves is good for 20+ games so probably just safer to stick with 1.
