Is Guthrie worth it? Diamond in the rough?

Does anyone else think Guthrie will be worth the extra $$$ then say going for a Smedts.
Played games last year which helps. Gotta feeling will be one of the pick ups of the year IMO.

The Red Vest is always a danger but being a defender means less likely to get the vest then a Forward.

Thoughts?
