Just sayin, in the DT Strategy section I posted a link about how the highest increase in average over the top echelon of midfielders was in their second year, and that the highest number of average decreases was in the third year. Of course, it might differ for someone who had such a ripper first year.

However, he has bulked up, and will only be fitter and have better game sense, as well as being in the midfield/half back group.

Why shouldn't you have him again?

You've almost sold me on Heppell, especially after looking at your write-up. Perhaps I'm bitter I missed out on the Heppell boat last season :P.

I'd like to hear from those that thing Waters will outscore Heppell though. Anyone care to estimate averages?

the way I see it i really don't see the hype with waters. what's he done that's made people jump on him? is it just the price? what's he been scoring like?  ???

heppell is a gun, certain lock next year cuz I'm not a fan of the second year player. not saying he won't be a gun this year cuz he very well could be, and at that price there's not much risk! :)

hanley haven't heard much about nor can I judge him so I can't say much on him except Golby and Adcock could steal his points!

and Adcock? as injury prone as he may be he's still the best and proven player of these guys! I've added him to my team as a unique over Birchall as I just think it's his lucky year! possibly a keeper, but could be my final trade IF NECESSARY to ensure a safe finish come end of the season :)

definately waters. He is a proven DT'er.  And the 70k saved is better spent elsewhere.  I have waters, and wont be budging on him :)
