Got to wait and see if smedts is named mate, will be known in a few hours. I think geelong are smart and might ease smedts into AFL so could see the vest.

smedts is poo!! done nothin in the preseason and prob a waste even on the bench!!

I've had him in since early, but after an average pre-season and remembering Geelong's rotation of players, I think I'll take a pass. Too many vying for spots 19-22 in the Geelong side and even if he makes the cut he's a good chance of being the sub.

What about Ellis?

Ellis > Morris > Smedts - for a starting position IMO

Back pocket for Morris is unappealing whereas Ellis is named on a TASTY, JUICY, SUCCULENT (chicken) Wing position!

Lock lock lock for that 7th D position.

I start work at 5pm tonight so I might need to get a mate to check subs for me and change my team accordingly
